  1. The opening to this track really reminds me of the Odo Island theme from the original Godzilla ‘54. Especially the opening of “Storm on Odo Island,”

They sound very similar, that’s gotta be intentional. Great choice for a more menacing Godzilla theme, great way to pay homage to the original.

  2. Hello, Tom Holkenborg. I am GodzillaMC Entertainment, a small-business Youtube channel. I notice you have blocked my video, "Godzilla Vs. Kong Abridged" multiple times. I have come here to directly request permission to use all clips from the movie for the project. I've been working on this for over a year, and I need you to stop blocking the video. Send this message to everyone's agents, specifically Adam Wingard. When the deals done, you can have most of the revenue from the video as long as you don't block it.

    I'll be waiting.

  3. While I will always cherish the original Godzilla theme by Akira Ifukube, this theme actually perfectly fits the characters darker, more unpredictable side and it is still Oscar worthy in my opinion. It somehow reminds me of Kylo Ren's theme from the Star Wars sequel trilogy, especially towards the end. Which also reflects how Zilla is a somewhat conflicted character in this movie.

  4. I'm gonna be honest, this "theme" doesn't really grow to me. It's just the same melody repeating over and over again, interrupted by some parts, where you can hear barely nothing than some drums. On the other hand, despite being actually simple, it just doesn't stay in my head like McCreary's Ifukube-Remix and the one from 2014. When I first heard it, I was kinda disappointed. The way, it is played, makes it somehow fitting for Godzilla, it is very intense and powerful, but I feel like, it's not actually good enough to represent Godzilla.
