I need to tell you guys this story. I was with my ex for 12 plus years. He was a narcissist and I finally got the courage to leave him 4 years ago. I was devastated. It took me a long long long time to be able to try to move on. I met a guy 2 years ago but realized I was so broken from my ex. I vocalize all this to the new guy. Who has been so patient with my healing of my heart and soul. No matter how hard I tried to let my walls down I just couldn't. This guy is the most incredible selfless human being I've ever met. He went to Puerto Rico with his daughter this week to visit his sister and I realized how much I miss him. I was driving tonight and your song came on and I think it was my ah ha moment. Thank you for these beautiful lyrics that I believe knocked the last brick of my wall down. We need music like this back again. Thank you for all of your music.
