  1. the way ka talks about "the mark of cain" and "the original sin" almost interchangeably is so genius, considering that "the mark of cain" was a way to justify slavery and other racial discrimination

  2. Song legit brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. So much imagery in this. And growing up without a pops this brings up so many crazy feelings. Ka had it ROUGH back in the day… so glad I copped legitimately from his website last year. Support a legit poet.

Thank you for your art, Ka.

  3. Hey Ka,

Meant to write this several times, but finally got around to it.
Just want to say that you are my favorite musician, one I go to on walks, runs, or long drives.
After listening to each of your albums on Spotify many times, I still catch new meanings in your lyrics.
Today I found out that you have songs and albums I have never heard on your website, so I just ordered them all.
Anyway, keep it up! Thanks from Houston, TX.

  4. One of my favorite songs of all time. Why didn't you play the entire song? I appreciate the visuals but the song in it's entirety is better. A black screen with the whole song playing would be better. Love your music hope you don't take this the wrong way.

  5. "Still built my arc in the face of ridicule" is my mantra for life. I've never heard an artist string together words and themes so effortlessly. Your own wife won't see the vision and she'll join in with the naysayers. Keep building
