  1. RZA produced this track for free.I asked Good Humor could I use it on a project that I was working on because it had an Ice cream truck that needed some music other than the Turkey and the Straw.I thought it would be a good way to honor them both and would be a good look all around. They have been shunning my request by responding vaguely not saying yes or no.So I'm confused is it Free to use or not.

I'm starting to wonder if they just make it to exploit the Urban community because it was created around the time The BLM movement was getting started.I'm not 100% sure but they may even have it setup with STEM DISTRIBUTION LLC a royalty company so they can collect profit off it. Something that was giving for free while denying others the right to use it for the same purpose it was created. What's going on GOOD HUMOR?Let the people use this track,Spread the Joy and LOVE!

Im still waiting for a clear answer Is this track free to use as for as FAIR USE or what?

I'm good one way or the other I just thought it would be Great if I could use it and give credit to RZA for producing it and Honor Good Humor for the courtesy.

  2. Im sorry ti have to tell you this wu-tang i love you and your music to death but Turkey in the straw has been around to long to have to just give it up believe me when i tell you this. The very first Turkey in the straw is not rasist it was mainly about animals ill put a link here…

  3. This is just another false flag, crazy liberal lie. The original song is not racist! Just because some idiot in vaudeville, many years later, stole the tune from the Turkey song and used it to play out his idiotic, lowbrow, disgusting "comedy" does Not make the ice cream truck song racist, or give the tune "racist" roots.
Not any more than weird AL Yankovic turning M.J's "Who's bad into "who's fat". Making M.J guilty of fat-shaming.

  4. This is directly because of Cancel culture… The original good humor jingle is from an extremely offensive song called N*** Love a Watermelon….believe it .. soo i only see this as a company paying protection money to the wu tang clan to protect them from BLM.

  5. It has a "problematic history" …. man you have got to be kidding me…. So now these clowns are thinking the ice cream man song is "problematic"??!? I still can't believe I actually just saw that…..Such wussy people out here today i swear….

  6. Turkey in the Straw is a folk song. Anyone could add any lyrics they wanted to it. By this logic, any song could be racist if someone keeps the melody and adds racist lyrics. This deletion is being done by design to erase white people and culture.

  7. Hello, I drove a Good Humor truck in Detroit in 1975 and never used the original jingle. Dig the new one, thanks — makes me wanna run out and buy a "Bomb Pop" or double chocolate anything !

  8. A jingle to sleep through unfortunately. It's not bad, but where is the ENERGY. the truck is gonna drive away before I get there cause the song had me walking slow
