3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets Official Trailer 1 (2015) – Documentary HD

In 3 1⁄2 MINUTES, TEN BULLETS, two lives intersected and were forever altered. On Black Friday in 2012, two cars parked next to each other at a Florida gas station. A white middle-aged male and a black teenager exchanged angry words over the volume of the music in the boy’s car. A gun entered the exchange, and one of them was left dead.
Michael Dunn fired 10 bullets at a car full of unarmed teenagers and then fled. Three of those bullets hit 17-year-old Jordan Davis, who died at the scene. Arrested the next day, Dunn claimed he shot in self-defense. Thus began the long journey of unraveling the truth. 3 1⁄2 MINUTES, TEN BULLETS follows that journey, reconstructing the night of the murder and revealing how hidden racial prejudice can result in tragedy.

  1. This is why you turn down your music . I don't care what it is rap rock..whatever not everyone wants to hear that blasting out of your speakers. No reason to shoot anyone I'm just saying respect other people.

  2. When you carry a loaded gun you have already decided to kill someone. Now you have the responsibility and need the courage to stand your ground with out firing until it is absolutely clear your about to be killed. First degree murder was justified in this case. In my opinion and looking at this if it was my son, I would have been mad at him if he would have been disrespectful of others and looking for a fight. If it was me in the place of Jordan’s father and mother I would have forgiven Dunn after he got second degree murder charge, And let it go from there. Jesus said be carful how you judge, for this will be how you are judged.

  3. Michael Dunn was a scam artist and a bully. He abused his 2 wives ( why any woman would be attracted to that fat douche with a boy voice is beyond me) These young guys that were shot upon and Jordan Davis killed were never arrested EVER. Dunn is a sociopath baby boomer that murdered someone and he could have also killed other people he has a serial killer weird face.

  4. 100% Michael Dunn was in the wrong, no question about it; he deserves to spend his remaining days in prison for murder. However, if you threaten a person's life (even if you don't have the means to carry out the threat), a stranger too, don't be surprised when they respond with hostility. Who cares if he is a kid; my children are only little and even they know you never threaten people in the manner Jordan Davis did. I feel bad for him but he played a part in creating this situation too.

  5. All of this race card, finger pointing nonsense. When we (blacks) need to police our own and stop killing each other. His life mattered, but so do the thousands of other blacks who die every year from each other. All of your energy is directed at the wrong “race”.

  6. All this over music, if people don't like what other people are playing either roll windows up or ignore it, let the police handle it, humans are so evil against each other, heaven or hell? this is hell

  7. This documentary did deserve 100% rating and thank God it was made. Had to take a break 20 minutes before it was over because I couldn't stand looking at the murderer and his lawyer.

  8. I was appalled when i heard the phone conversations between the shooter and his fiance. I can see that man has serious hate inside him and if it wasn't Jordan that day it would been another person along the way and probably a person of color. He should never been able to have a gun and without it i guarantee he is nothing but a racist with hate in his heart and no courage at all to face someone without a weapon in any confrontation.

  9. 55 mins in…He's talking to his GF on the phone and says, "No wonder people are afraid to tell them to pick up their pants"

    GF: IDK Honey…

Dunn: I'm not racist, they're racist. What is with this subculture that feels entitled to exert their will? The only thing I can think of is the culture, MTV culture, the gangster rap… Where are their dads?

GF: "Why don't we discuss this another time"…

Cos she knows he's the one acting entitled here. Clearly by those statements, one can tell that he made up his mind even before be got to the gas station. He saw what he wanted to see. He wanted to shoot them because they wouldn't listen to him when his entitled ass wanted them to turn down their music. That's it. Glad `he's locked up. May Jordan RIP.

  10. it would be very hard for me to sit in the courtroom and listen to all the awful details that happened to my child without acting out in some way. I have a lot of respect for this poor boy's parents for staying so classy and cool headed during the trial because I don't think I would be able to do it myself.

  11. I'm watching this documentary now. and though it's very tragic and sad and that poor boy died for no reason at all they have to say his father is gorgeous. that was the first thing I noticed when it came on. how attractive his parents were.

  12. This brought tears to my eyes…man! As someone from England, I find it MAD how in the US ppl can just have guns like it's nothing! Like wth that's not normal, but Americans talk about it casually so messed up. Kinda surprised the man got life ( bcus keep hearing of ones walking away free)…but Jordan is still gone :(… it's funny because I just got my drivers licence and I've always been like I can't wait to drive around and play my music ( and yes loud) granted yes it may be a bit obnoxious maybe but it's not a crime. The pain in the parents eyes killed me…can't imagine the pain of losing your son especially under such circumstances.

  13. Great film. Feel for both sides yet it's so so simple America…sort your gun control out. The rest of the world is watching you tear your families,, communities and cities apart. It's up to the ground roots to make this your utmost priority. Please do it, you guys are a great nation but this is now your downfall staring at you down the sights. Good luck and be smart.

  14. I watched this documentary. It was very upsetting and aggrivating. The situation is simple. This was a racist man who felt he had power over some black CHILDREN. A situation all too familiar. He did not have to sit there and listen to the music if it was that bothersome to him. He had plenty of options besides trying to boss around a couple black CHILDREN. If it were 4 white kids that were shot, forget it. It would be considered an act of terror.

To those saying that if Micheal Dunn was black and he shot in a car full of black kids, guess what, that is a crime. No one is saying it isn't. However, that black man wouldn't even have the chance to claim "self-defense". He would have been charged and convicted right away unlike these racist white men with internalized racism.

  15. i just dont like this injustice and its cuz they were black and all this shit if i pulled up next to that guy and was with a couple people bumpin rap music he wulda shot us white people too….guys just a hothead.

  16. I'm white, and of course this entire issue is based on racism, fear, and ignorance. I'm just glad that ignorant racist, Michael Dunn, was found guilty and gets to spend the rest of his life in a cage.

I know it's not much, with what Jordan's parents had to go through, but I know they at least have closure for what happened to their son. At the very least, they needed, and deserved that. I'll keep the family in my prayers.

  17. Some of the comments are just plain stupid. There is a whole lot of "All lives matter", "He should have turned the music off", or even "Stupid Thugs". First of all the whole black lives matter movement is not saying that only their lives matter. It is simply saying "We matter to". I clearly do not see any White people getting killed or threatened, more than I see young African Americans. I don't understand why other white people don't see that, I'm white and I get it. Instead they take it as a act against them and protest saying "All live matter." Of course they do, and they are not saying they don't. What I am saying is that; when you protest against it and see that they are getting killed at a high rate, Then in my mind clearly to you all lives do not matter, because they are getting killed because of Racism and Prejudice, and you are acting like it doesn't matter. Like the whole issue shouldn't be brought up at all. NO, stop saying all live matter, until 'Black Lives' matter again. Because if their's doesn't matter why should yours.
