  1. He Thane The Phaaro Of Africa They Too Crazy Yes That Was Me It's The Pharaoh Of Africa Plug In . Lol I'm Gravity Haiti Yo Fanel Fabien I Can't Let You Hurt My Son Like That. It's Me Haiti Lol But You Was.

  2. Grew up in South London. Back in the early 90s when we got cable I used to watch Yo! MTV Raps religiously. That show and Westwood on Radio 1 the only way to hear what was going on with US hip hop for me. This vid blew my mind! Had a VHS tape set up to record vids off of Yo! This got tapped and replayed and replayed! My Dad also set up the stereo system to the player so I could port it across to audio cassette. Fuck, I miss those days!

  3. Gotta vent here. I have been so frustrated with hip hop for the last 10 years or so. Feel like the talent is so bare minimum. The beats are so basic and all the same. The message is always so negative and even when it’s not it’s almost like too preachy. I know I can’t be pleased it would seem. Hip hop was always my go to and I’ve been so distant from it.

I always go back to the classics. Like this hear and it just makes you remember how good and pure it was. The beats that incorporate jazz or any other types of music that make you feel like you can be listening to more than one genre in a song. The relatable lyrics where you don’t hear a message of death and greed. It’s timeless. But then when i think of the future, you don’t see it ever going back to anything like this and I get sad man. It’ll never be the same and the genre has turned into something so out of control, so greedy, and so wicked.

It’s crazy that Common wrote I used to love h.e.r. In 94. It’s so relatable now much more so than then.
