Yea… its settled…when I graduate from my controller I am going turntables, not CDJ… you just cant get this smooth of a scratch routine out of jogwheels. The precision is impeccable… i absolutely love your mixes. So fun. I get compliments as a rookie DJ but I know once I can kick this depression from the last few years my DJ sets will improve immensely…usually takes me about 3 whole hours before I finally catch the vibe and snap. And sometimes I accidentally turned people off.
Im probably too much of a rookie to be doing 6 hour sets EVERY friday and saturday (I began learning in March…) its not fair I know…but I am very grateful for the experience I am gaining… a lot of people hate on us noobs but I study every day and improve something every week. My first month was probably pretty bad but I understand how lucky I am and making a point to work hard to learn the craft and give it the respect it deserves. I have worked in music for years and this is just a new endeavor…so Im a rookie DJ but with 15 years music production and performance experience. So I am confident I will advance faster than average.
Jesus that was awesome!!! Ive seen some of your tutorials but just now seeing an actual mix for the first time. Certified BEAST but I figured that was the case when I started watching your tutorials.
You're my favorite DJ worldwide! My worst fear is that Disney is going to get a hold of you and talk you into selling out. Please don't sell out to catholic Disney!!!! If for no other reason than that they made my ears bleed with every movie I was subjected to!!!! You're better than effing Disney! Stay aWAY from those WEIRDos!!!!! Thank you for making what used to be only in my head a reality!!!!!!!!!
