  1. I can definitely identify with the East Berlin taste in athletic silhouettes. I think it’s from coming up in the hardcore scene here in Brisbane. Punks like to pretend we’re above fashion/trends but the sneaker culture in hardcore music is undeniable IMO. I’d love to see it represented a little more tbh.

  2. great Video, but they got one thing wrong Adidas sneakers were a status symbol in east Germany too. If a person had family in west Germany they could send things to east Germany, that you couldn't get in east Germany. Thats why some people had Adidas sneakers even in east Germany. Of course were Adidas sneaker in east Germany the coolest shoes you could get.

  3. Love puma, my first sneakers was a pair of puma basketball shoes high cut. And thru the years, i only bought 3 pairs of puma and dozs of nikes, adidas. In fact i own more saucony and hokas than pumas. Sad coz puma is a vintage brand and should be up there with the very best. If only puma could hire better shoe designers coz honestly puma shoes are ugly. Yeah this may anger some puma fans but really i dont understand puma designs. Its not sleek, colors are weird, not much tech in it. Recently they had ignite but they could take advantage of that tech, they instead came up with shoes with ignite midsole but fits horribly. I couldnt get myself even to buy a pair during a sale event which offered 60% off. Its just killing my feet

  4. I have two pairs of adidas and I didn't really like them because I have a narrow feet and adidas shoes tend to be bulky. I prefer puma to adidas but now I shop for Nike only (Converse too)
