Evénement ! Entouré du New Big Band Project, l’immense rappeur @mcsolaar5510 revisite ses plus grands tubes à la Philharmonie de Paris.

C’est en grande partie grâce à MC Solaar que le rap français a gagné ses lettres de noblesse. Beauté des mots, flow imparable, nouvelles sonorités… les morceaux du rappeur ont marqué leur époque et continuent d’influencer les nouvelles générations.

À l’occasion de la réédition de Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo (1991), Prose combat (1994) et Paradisiaque (1997), le pianiste, compositeur et producteur Issam Krimi a proposé à MC Solaar de fêter l’événement en grand, avec le New Big Band Project, ensemble composé de l’Orchestre national d’Île-de-France et du groupe de jazz The Ice Kream.

Flow et classe intacts, le désormais quinqua fait mouche avec d’emballantes versions jazzy de ses titres emblématiques (“Bouge de là”, “Caroline”, “Nouveau western”…), emportant les fans nostalgiques comme les novices.

La 1 er morceau m a laissée dubitative mais petit à petit je trouve que le jazz colle bien à ses textes..mais.. je dois dire que quand je vois 1 concert instrumental, je m attends à ce que les.morveaux ne soient pas calibrés sur la pop, cad dire 3min30…où sont les longueurs, les riffs de jazz, les solos, etc?
    C de la pop jazzeisee pr moi.. dommage.. c t pr arte donc pas de pression financière.. il pouvait se faire vraiment t plais…

  3. En général, j'aime pas le rap. Mais Solaar est un gars bourré de talent donc j'ai cliqué par curiosité, très intrigué.
    C'est excellent ! Et la section cuivre déchire
    L'arrangement pour Caroline est carrément mieux que l'original

  4. Je ne peux pas arrêter de sourire!!! Je suis prof de francais au lycee americain, et je m'engage dans la musique de jazz, de hip-hop etc. Quel beau mariage que nous voyons sur l’écran! Quel merveil! J'aimerais le voir en concert comme ca aussi!!
