  1. As a youngsta coming up in the early-mid 70s I was just catching on to tha music from my big brother and I was catching up on Hip Hop at the same time, Funk music been a part of Hip Hop since the beginning.
Thank you Funk, for Hip Hop.

  2. Jus remember my late brother and his boys partyin…. Sitting there reading and looking at the album covers groovin right wit em!!! Even tried to sneak me in a concert in 78! I was 9!!! Miss u bro!!!

  3. Haven't heard this in forever! I am so happy that someone was smart enough to post this beautiful madness, it's perfect for dancing. I am bouncing right now, and it is good.
I don't swim either, but I sink like a pro.
Dance, my little freaky people ,it's good for you.

  4. OMG this song right here was a cut it use be teenage place called the Doejoe it was a karate school in the daytime but on the weekends from 9:00 pm too 12:00pm it belonged too teenagers best time of my life❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  5. it's so sad, George Clinton went to court to get back his Rights to the Music he wrote and was denied. All the music he wrote from between 1976 and 1983, which would include his contributions to the Funkadelic classics One Nation Under a Groove (1978) and Uncle Jam Wants You (1979) as well as the solo effort Computer Games (1982), which spawned "Atomic Dog." is owned by a company called Bridgeport Music the same company was one of the defendants in the recent “Blurred Lines” case with Pharrell and Robin Thicke. His music is second on the list of most-sampled artists in music history, with more than 400 times to date, it is estimated that it's worth 100 million in Royalties and George get zero *note he was heavily into Crack Cocaine back then, that's probably why he signed away all his rights …..very sad he is the second most sampled artist

  6. I swear the older P-Funk gets the better it sounds..I personally been jammin with them since the early 70s and will continue to do so until the man upstairs calls me home and on the day of my home going I want to sent off by way of the Funk…Parliment Funkadelic and Bootsy's Rubber Band For Ever
